SIKHS IN WORLD ARMIES
As part of the Indian Army where nearly 20 percent of the 1.2 million men are Sikhs, members of this formidable ‘Warrior race’ have long served in international armed forces. They have fought for their rights to retain their articles of faith while defending their respective countries. And despite being a minority , Sikhs in American , Canadian, British, Singapore Armies, have found success and climber ranks .
