मिसिंग टाइल सिंड्रोम एक मनोवैज्ञानिक समस्या है जिसमें हमारा सारा ध्यान जीवन की उस कमी की तरफ रहता है जिसे हम नहीं पा सके हैं | और यहीं बात हमारी ख़ुशी चुराने का सबसे बड़ा कारण है।

जिन्दगी में कितना कुछ भी अच्छा हो, हम उन्हीं चीजों को देखते हैं जो *मिसिंग* हैं और यही हमारे दुःख का सबसे बड़ा कारण है।

क्या इस एक आदत को बदल कर हम अपने जीवन में खुशहाली ला सकते हैं ?

I did YOs (SS/NT)-8 from Sep 70 to Apr 1971. Maj SRR Aiyengar (later, Lt Gen) was our Gp Offr and Maj BP Murgai (Maj Gen) commanded the Junior Wing. Those who know them, or still better, have served along, would agree that both were ideal leadership choices for grooming the fledgling Sparrows into good Signallers. They still remain inspiring role models for the whole of our generation that trained under them. ‘Just not done in Corps of Signals’ would how the caution be whenever we erred. We were told that Signals were the best supporting arm and we did not disagree to agree in spite of the fact that only a few of us had opted for Signals before commissioning. Credit goes to their persona, character, style and substance, that, by the time we finished our Course we were a highly motivated lot. The level of our motivation was amply reflected in our performance during 1971 War.

First, to resize the army so that flab is removed and operational capabilities increase.

Second, to enhance funds in the Capital Account for modernisation, by reducing expenditure under the Revenue Account.

कल दिल्ली से गोवा  की उड़ान में एक सज्जन मिले।

साथ में उनकीपत्नि भी थीं।

सज्जन की उम्र करीब 80 साल रही होगी। मैंने पूछा नहीं लेकिन उनकी पत्नी भी 75 पार ही रही होंगी।

 उम्र के सहज प्रभाव को छोड़ दें, तो दोनों करीब करीब फिट थे।

पत्नी खिड़की की ओर बैठी थींसज्जन  बीच में औरमै सबसे किनारे वालीसीट पर थी।

उड़ान भरने के साथ ही पत्नी ने कुछ खाने का सामान निकाला और पति की ओर किया। पति कांपते हाथों से धीरे-धीरे खाने लगे।

It's a known fact in history, that in September of 1965 when Pakistan was on the verge of victory in Kashmir with the Cchamb offensive, a three pronged attack on Jammu Akhnoor and Pathankot to cut off Kashmir from the rest of India; one man stood up... Lt Gen Harbaksh Singh the Western Army Commander.

The towering Khalsa, took upon himself to break the defensive mindset, and went on the offensive... thus, for the second time in history after the Khalsa offensive by the legendary Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa against the Pathans in 19th century; the Indian Army went on the offensive... Lahore was attacked.

          Introduction - The first day in any organisation is memorable, be it school, college, NDA, IMA, Regiment, etc. We Sappers were doing our YOs Course in CME, Pune, when, towards the end, our postings were announced. I was allotted 14 Engineer Regiment of the Madras Sappers. Luckily, another officer, Vijay Singh Negi (Chhotu) was also posted to 14 along with me - that was great. In fact, another technical officer doing the YOs course with us, was also posted to 14, but he joined a bit later. It is customary for Regimental officers posted in CME or under going courses to call the YOs posted to their Regiments for a dinner, as a prelude to initial introduction to the Regiment. In case of 14, there were three senior officers under going the degree course. So they took us all for a dinner to Three Coins in Pune on their scooters. We tried to probe what to expect on joining, but they said, " We won`t tell you, otherwise you will miss the fun".

Section 80D of the Income Tax Act 1961 allows taxpayers to claim deductions for health insurance premiums paid for insuring self, spouse, dependent children, and parents. The maximum tax deduction that can be claimed under this section is Rs. 25,000. If any of the persons specified is a senior citizen, the maximum deduction amount is Rs. 50,000.

There are certain requirements we must fulfill before God will listen to our prayers.

We Must Belong to God.

"There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus" (1Timothy 2:5). Because Jesus is the mediator between us and God, we must give Him our total allegiance.

Before I yielded the control of my life to Jesus Christ, I would pray, but I was never sure if God was listening or would answer. After I asked Him to be the Lord of my life, I had confidence that God was hearing and answering my prayers.
